Spicy smokey aromas, with almonds and liquorice that dominate the nose.

The palate is spicy and slightly dry, with hits of raisins and plums.

Harvest by hand at the right correct ripeness to prevent  a green vegetive taste and nose and enhance the cherry and fruit flavours.

Our Cape Ruby consist of 80% Ruby Cabernet and 20% Shiraz.

Fermentation on skins until 10 degrees sugar are fermented out and then fortified  30%  aged in used barrels for 12 months the res aged in tanks for 12 months.
